Bar
Charts
|
- Here you see an
example of a bearish bar. In this case the
securities closing price was lower than its
opening price meaning that the stock closed lower
for the day. So if the opening price was at $30.00
and the closing price was at $28.00 the stock
would have finished the day down 2 full
points.
-
- If you evaluate the
bar further you will also notice that intraday the
price dipped lower than the closing price of 28
and at some point during the day bumped up higher
than its opening price of 30.
